FAQs
Questions candidates ask before they book the exam.
If you are deciding between TEF and TCF, or between another month of self-study and a structured plan, start here — then book the consultation for a diagnostic, not a pitch.
Are classes 1-on-1, and what does a session look like?
Every session is live and 1-on-1 over video. A typical class includes a brief review of homework, targeted work on one or two exam tasks (for example a TEF speaking prompt or TCF writing structure), timed practice, and a score note against your CLB/NCLC target. There are no group lectures.
How flexible is scheduling if I work shifts or live outside Canada?
We book around your workday and time zone — including evenings and weekends. Recurring weekly slots are preferred for momentum; you can reschedule with 24 hours’ notice. Students join from Canada, the Gulf, South Asia, Latin America, and Europe.
How long does it typically take to prepare for TEF or TCF?
Most candidates moving one CLB/NCLC band need 8–16 weeks of focused tutoring. A jump of two bands, or a severe speaking/writing gap, takes longer. Your free consultation includes a diagnostic and a timeline you can actually plan an exam date around. We do not encourage booking the official test until mocks are stable.
Should I take TEF Canada or TCF Canada?
Both are accepted by IRCC for Express Entry and most PNPs. The better exam is the one whose task types match your strengths. We help you choose during the consultation and then train exclusively to that format — mixing the two is how people waste attempts.
What is included in the $150/month plan?
Live 1-on-1 instruction, targeted exam materials, homework tracking, progress reports, and mock exam cycles. The monthly fee is for the program, not a single class. Session frequency is set in your study plan after the diagnostic so the workload matches the date you need the score.
Do you guarantee a specific CLB or NCLC score?
No ethical academy can promise an official exam result. What we do guarantee is a diagnostic, a plan mapped to official scoring grids, tracked mocks, and instruction until your practice scores are in range. You book the real exam when the data says you are ready.
